We are friendly, relaxed and informal

Here at Ossians we offer double, twin, triple, quad and family room

Double rooms - 1 double bed, for 1 or 2 people.
Twin room - 2 single beds, for 1 or 2 people.
Triple room -3 beds. (example 1x set of bunkbeds and 1x single bed)
Quad room- 4 beds. (example 2x sets of bunk beds)
Family rooms -sleep up to x6 people.
Our basic rooms- are the older part of our building and are as stated (basic) these offer ensuite with tv, tea tray and Wi-Fi.
Our other rooms are recently refurbished and offer ensuite with tea tray, tv, Wi-Fi, small kitchen area with fridge and micro-wave.
Well behaved pets are welcome, but please let us know in advance so we allocate the correct room, there is a £10 charge per pet, per stay.

Our reception/ lounge area

Has a friendly atmosphere with a licensed bar offering a selection of whisky, wine, spirits and beer (no draught), comfy sofas, games and books. This is also a great area you can use to eat a takeaway in the evening if you don't want to go out or enjoy a free tea/coffee and bowl of cereal in the morning between 8am-11am.

We are situated in the centre of Fortwilliam

Only a 5-minute walk from the train and bus station.

The end of the West Highland Way is so close to our doorstep- not far for a comfortable bed and hot shower.

Situated on the high street are over 20 restaurants, bars, and a variety of shops, as well as The West Highland Museum, library, indoor climbing wall, cinema and a short walk to the bowling alley in the Nevis centre.

Whether you are taking a trip on the Jacobite steam train (Harry Potter Train), climbing Ben Nevis, walking the West Highland Way, Great Glen Way, Cape Wrath trail or completing the three peaks challenge, or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery, this is an ideal base for all.

Please note

This is a town centre location, with pubs and entertainment close by, so please be aware that the noise can reflect this on the high street side of the building.
We do NOT accept bookings for stag or hen nights.
Last check in time is 22.30pm, please let us know if you are arriving at this time. Reception closes at 22.30pm
Official check in is from 15.00pm but if you arrive earlier, (perhaps by train, or walking the way) then just come in.
If your room is ready, great - we’ll check you right in. If not, we can keep your bags here and let you go and enjoy your visit here.
WE DO NOT PROVIDE COOKED MEALS/ BREAKFAST - we do offer complimentary tea/coffee and cereals between 8am-11am.

Parking

We are in the middle of town and do not provide any parking. There are several public car parks close by. -long stay car park,

(West End and An Aird), where you can leave your car for a few days if you wish.

-Short stay during the day, car parks (Middle Street and Viewforth) are free from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. the following day, and any payments made after 6p.m. count towards the following day, and your ticket will tell you when it is valid until.

cancelation policy

There are no charges for booking changes or cancellations up to 72 hours before the 3pm check-in time on the day of your planned arrival. However, for cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice 20% of the room cost i.e. your deposit is charged, and for same day cancellations or no shows, the balance of the first night total is charged to the card you supplied. Your 20% deposit has been paid, and the balance of payment is on arrival, by cash or card.
